WHY DO BRIDE CRY AT MARRIAGE?

Its the desire of every woman to get married to a love of her life someday but when this day comes its often fill with tears from the woman and significant relatives. What often contribute to this may vary among to be wives but there's often tears in most women.

In a personal experience when my elder sister was about getting married, i shaded tears along with her. According to my tradition, the to be wife will leave her home in company of her friends and the to be husband's family at the eve of the wedding after every rites is fulfilled. That moment still remain unforgettable to me. My sister was in tears, my female cousin was also in tears lamenting "I will now be alone", goodness, the moment is so before me again but i will face it. I soon join in tears as i watch my dad poured water on her feet as a sign of peace but i held myself as a man and what came to my mind was "marriage is an upgraded slave trading".

The feelings of how i will so miss staying daily with my first family often result to the tears, the inert joy felt by most women for such a dream day coming through can also result to tears of joy. The aspect of arranged marriage that may be against the desire of the bride can also results to tears though the woman won't say it out. Getting married to a poor man may also result to tears. Getting married at younger age can result to tears. the fear of the unforseen or worries of how the institution will be is also the reason women cry. The general reason given by women for crying is that they cant explain it but the tears just kept coming.

However, they're some women that didn't or won't cry on such day and there are mostly those that marriage have delayed  or those marrying a very rich man but Even with this they're exceptions. 

The tears drop before marriage signifies where you're headed is not easy. Most women continue crying all through the marriage till maybe divorce or proper intimacy set in. There's absolute need for a marriage to be out of love. There should be existence of communication & adjustment for a successful marriage. Marriage is a good thing whoever says otherwise is not in love or hasn't had the best of it.

Crying on the day of marriage is more peculiar with women than men because the men are stationary i:e they don't leave their father's house like women but there is a habit with men too on such day and it will be a topic for another day.
