NBC BAN DAVIDO 'FALL' AND OLAMIDE 'WO' HIT TRACKS

The Nigeria Broadcasting Cooperation (NBC) has ban Olamide latest hit single 'Wo' just two weeks after it was released for promoting tobacco intake. The video has scene of young boys taking tobacco. Olamide who returned back to the street he grow up to shoot the 'wo' video said responded on his twitter handle that "I have no intention to promote tobacco to get people kill,am a proud Nigeria and i love my people. Let's keep enjoying the music. Wo!."



Davido fall and 9ice new single living things were equally banned without any stated reasons.



The news has sprung reactions across the entertainment industry describing it as unfair and politically motivated. They however said NBC can stop the music on TV and radio station but they can't delete it from DJ and Nigerians laptops or phones.



The ban is coming one month after the federal government of Nigeria banned Musicians from shooting video abroad.
Appeal has also been rendered to the federal government to regulate the nudity display on music videos by girls because it passes no good message to the society.
