AYADE DEPLOY SOLDIERS FROM SAMBISA FOREST TO CALABAR&OBUDU

 After leaving below expectations to most Cross Riverians,the government of Cross River state has deployed soldiers that don't even understand Come or Please language to the streets of Calabar and Obudu. 

 

Soldiers are now seen intimidating and arresting indigenes with long beards, tattoos,scars on the skin and not properly dress.

About 200 persons are currently in Afukang prison located in Calabar south of the state. They're arrested on the suspiciousness of being cultists or arm robbers and a threat to security. Many question have arise if that's the way of identifying cultist or arm robbers. They're some accident victims with lot of scars on their body that thank God everyday for sparing their lives yet just to be maltreated in the hands of these non smiling army officers. 

 In Obudu northern part of Cross River State State,Army men patrol the town and have checkpoints at strategic locations in the Local Government Area(LGA). Okader Riders are force to push their bike across the checkpoints ,youths are being naked to check for scars inflated by initiations processes into cultism. Movement and businesses now closes as early as 8PM in the LGA. 

 

Is this really the right step to security? Is how we look a threat to security? What happen to the innocent ones in prison now? Where has the security agencies been? Why use commando style on armless indigenes ? Are the people on top not contributing greater to this insecurity? These and many more are the questions asked by concerned indigenes. 

 If this government respond like this to issues pending in the state especially to the cry of Obudu to restore power supply that was cut off by this same administration almost two years ago and others issues it will indeed be the best state governance in Nigeria. However i most commend the governor for responding to the security challenges in the state,this will go a long way in reducing the temple run and jungle justice in the state.
