CATTLE TAKES OVER CLASSROOM IN EDO STATE
Cattle left wondering about by the Fulani Headsmen flooded the classroom in a community primary school in Edo State. Pupils were seen running out of the classroom for safety.
The headmistress of the school frowned at the careless nature of headsmen in Nigeria. She said "these situations and among others constitute the clashes we hear often".
It took the efforts of able teachers and youth to chase the cattle out of the classrooms before the headsmen sheepishly arrived.
In recent times,Clashes with headsmen has become rampant especially in Benue State, the north central part of Nigeria. The dreaded way of attacks by these headsmen has promulgated their ban in Ekiti and some part of Abuja.
Who really are headsmen? If they're controller of animals, Shouldn't it be more easier to control themselves Cum valuing lives? These and many questions run through the minds of Nigerians. With healthy dialogue and understanding there would exist a cordial relationship soon.
