My younger one in nursery two comes home from school daily singing the Nigeria 36 states and it capital Abia- Umoahia,Adamawa-Yola....,it continues for over two months. My dad got angry,called me Zedicus Piro !, the tone of his voice depicted to me all was not well. I ran immediately before he says oh goodness me. In his always brusque voice, he said as you go to bed have the mindset we are taking this little child to her school tomorrow morning. I replied Okay daddy without asking what is wrong to avoid transfer of aggression to me, that is how you deal with my Father for safer reasons.

 

We arrived the school the following morning and We went straight to the headmistress office."good morning ma'am,my daughter in the past two months have been learning just 36 state and it capital?,its this only what you teach her here?, so we can start renegotiating the school fees." My dad served it hot with breaking.

The head apologize and sent for the class teacher. The young lady entered the office, what have you been teaching your pupil? The headmistress asked. "Exactly what's in the scheme of work ma'am,I have thought 36states & it capital,the alphabet...." I interrupted the teacher and ask my younger sister can you recite the alphabet? She said yessssss,i do recite it alone, I asked why alone,common recite it let's hear,one,two go.
