OBUDU RESIDENTS BLAST AYADE OVER LACK OF POWER SUPPLY

Obudu local government Area of Cross River State have been without power since the end of 2015. This has got many amazed,bittered and thinking if this is real  in the home of the digital governor Prof Ben Ayade. Many have woken up to this painful and shameful reality by calling on the governor to do what it takes urgently to restore power in Obudu and other affected areas of the state.

 Prof Ayade took over the mantle of leadership from Senator Liyel Imoke on the 29 of May 2015 and has strive just little in power supply especially in his home town Obudu local government area. I can recalled his sole effort of mounting heavy coil Mikano Generators at specific locations in the Area which supplied light between 6pm to 6am daily. This step only lasted for a month as the resident rejected the exorbitant bill brought later round. A particular house was charge #15,000 ,while some were charge #30,000 for just a month bill. Since the rejection the town have been in blackout, residents have fallen back to generators to carry out their businesses. Churches now have more electronics gadgets as members than human beings.

For how long will this continuous ? A poor aged man in the village of Akem cried out. "Our son can't give us light even once a week yet he boast being a digital governor" Another resident lamented. 

Our governor the people who voted you are begging you to make them happy. what else can you give us if not basic amenities. No one is really happy with you. Don't be deceived or inflated by the praises people around you pour on you,they ridiculed and abuse you behind. You are rated even by the child as below expectations. And how do you intend to win by the next election? To rig the election or to bath us with words to keep trusting you? How many stones do you think you will received standing in front of people to say that? Only God will help you. I love you that's why am writing this,You can still make it right,its not late. Be a leader! When your mouth is smelling,Only he who loves you can give you a toothpaste.
