SHOULD WHO WE ARE BE IN THE STICKERS ON OUR VEHICLES? SEE FUNNY ANSWERS
In our Nigeria society,pasting stickers of our different occupations in vehicles is now rampant among us. Is this generally seen as appropriate ? Nigerians react;
Chukwuemeka: "There's nothing wrong with it,it shows the pride you have for your profession".
Blessing: "I see it like an intimidation of others even to our security agencies".
Toyin: "Its their car oooo,they can choose to paste whatever they want ,wherever it ends them its their cross".
Victoria: "Its not so appropriate in this present insecure and wicked society,it makes you vulnerable to kidnapping,robbery etc,".
Bassey: "It is appropriate because its part of advertising or showcasing our business or occupations".
Ugwu Joshua: "there should be a little bit of confidentiality, who we are shouldn't just reflect on our cars but in the lives of others. If the lives of others carries who we are ,we will go farer to even places cars can't take us."
Rosemary: "i am a lawyer and I don't have to display it on my vehicle,i show it in court. Let our personality introduce us,its more respectful & dignifying ".
Bericah: "its a matter of choice, but our choices shouldn't be with negative intentions and let's just learn to respect our individual choices".
Adams: "I have a vehicle and it carries a sticker of my occupation because there's no place in the Nigeria Constitution that says its illegal. Am just proud of my occupation,I don't know about others but this is my decision. I suffered before becoming what i am now."
Amina: "there should be a law restricting this because its no longer appropriate. Some drive around with stickers of what they're not just to earn express the core and intimidate others. Now once your brother is an army officer,all his family and friends vehicles that doesn't even belong to him will carry army stickers . this has to stop."
Edward: "I see nothing wrong with it,its your vehicle,paste whatever you want even you're a native doctor or prostitute,paste it you will get more customers".
Anafe: "Oga i no get car yet ,that question no concern me, ask me if i don chop first".
Bello: "the law allows it on windscreens and other parts of the vehicle except number plate,mirrors,headlight and backlight. Whatever the law allows it appropriate except otherwise."
Umo: "Real men don't do that,only ordinary men. Such things are just for the noisy".
Victor: "We are in a society that's full of pride,I haven't come across stickers of car owner profession in the United Sates or United Kingdom but here everyone wants you to know who they're and how superior they are to others. There should be dignity of labour".
Pasting Stickers of who we are its indeed a choice. Our Choices should be rational. Pasting stickers of what we are not is impersonation and its punishable by law. Our intention of advertising who we are should be to help others get to who they are and not to boast,intimidate or debased their ego.
