TESTIMONY

In the beginning of this 2000 millennium, I gave my life to Christ while with my dad in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State. I felt profound peace with God and something more than a testimony happened in my life.

I was a member of the choir and there was this young lady who came from Cameron to visit a herbalist doctor in the area known as "madam houhar",some of you may know her mystic powers. The lady worshipped at St. Joseph Catholic Church Atimaka for the first time and decided to help in teaching the choir some new songs on our rehearsal days.
She however didn't come on any of those days.

I met her in the stream on the Saturday of that same week. I asked why she couldn't come again,she explained that she wasn't free. That was my second and last encounter with her but one thing have been true in those encounters, I have never maintained an eye contact with her. Each moment i tried,the experienced is what i can't say now. She was really fearful. We bit farewell and I left the stream with a bucket of water on my head and my twin brother following behind.

Few miles away in the narrow stream road,a snake passed with a speed under my leg. How i didn't stepped on that snake still remains a miracle. I started shouting snake! Snake!!  And running with the bucket of water on my head. The snake turned and was coming towards us. I then shouted Jesus,Blood of Jesus. It screamed wheeeew and took off. Up till this day am writing this my twin brother never saw that snake despite how it was in front of us. I got home,prayed and thank God for the victory.

Later that evening i emerged the president of Lay Readers Association which i was also a member following the relocation of the former president Mr Joseph Odey the then zonal manager of Agricultural Development Project (ADP) Ikom. Mr Odey did stood against all odds to make me the president because he saw what others couldn't see in me. The very first meeting i presided,the secretary who was more advanced than me, read the minutes of the previous meeting and there was a sentence he wrote "...members are to wash the vestments turn by turn". When it was time for correction and adoption of the minutes, i said it should be " members are to wash the vestments in turns and not turn by turn". They all laughed at me that i was so wrong,i felt so ashamed,I wish the ground could open and swallow me. I said to God in my mind,proof me right or i will never be part of this association again.

I however managed myself and it was time to share the words of God from any bible passage. I appointed the secretary, he got the bible, flipped through pages and found himself in the book of job and in it there is a verse that says "And Job sons looked after the sheep in turns". Oh i knelt down and said thank you lord. The secretary quickly effected the change in the minutes and those that laughed and ridiculed me were all silent with shame on their faces. The Lord vindicated me and i promise God i will share these goodnews to every ears that comes my path.

Also In 2009,I was staying with Evang John Adie Ugbong in 149 Orok Orok street,Calabar ,there was a day it rained from 4pm to about 9:30pm ,we came out at about 10:30 pm to urinate. While we were about locking the door, we saw a very very inched creature(known by effik as death vulture or whatever I don't care to know)we hid behind the door partly open ,watching it cross to the opposite compound firmly holding something on it hand. It moved pipping from one edge of the building to the other edge repeatedly wanting to drop what it held. After 10minutes it went back and as it was going Evang John said "You were on a mission you didn't succeed and you will never succeed in Jesus Name" the very small creature ran towards us,I said go in the mighty Name of Jesus,it was as if I told it to come further,i stylishly step behind Evang John,he step out of the room and Ecko "We don't negotiate with demons,Go in the Mighty Name of JESUS" ,the creature cried out wheeeeeeeeeeeeeww and took off with the speed of light. God Never Fails!We locked the door,prayed and had the best sleep that night.

Whatever plans of the evil ones towards you,by the faithful power of God they shall never succeed. proclaim with your mouth and hearts I don't negotiate with demons. 

God is faithful ,he never fails,his silence is not deafness but a step to the right miraculous mighty moment. He is a miraculous God,i have prayed for my mum and she got healed. I have emerged overall best and placed on scholarship with the grace of God. With God other things are added. Never take God for granted ,keep worshipping him and surely his provision for you will be in full Major . God Bless You
