WAEC RELEASED 2017 MAY/JUNE RESULT

The West African Examination Council has announced its readiness to released results of the 2017 May/June Exams after 60days of Exams.

The head of WAEC office in Nigeria Mr. Olu Isiaac Adenipekun made the announcement in Abuja.

The statistics shows that of the total number of 1,559,162 candidates that sat for the exams,829,853 were male and 729,309 were female, represented by  53.22% & 46.27% respectively.

923,486 candidates, represented by 59.22%, obtained minimum of credits in 5 subjects & above, including English Language & Mathematics.

1,084,214 candidates, representing by 69.54% obtained credits and above in six (6) subjects.

214,952 candidates' results, represented by 13.79% are being withheld in connection with various reported cases of examination malpractice.
