A BOY IN HIS TWENTIES RAPED 80YEARS OLD WOMAN TO COMA IN OSUN STATE

A young man in his late twenties has raped a 80 years old woman to coma in Ilesa area of Osun State.

The young man was identified as Kehinde Ariyo and lives very close to the old woman. Kehinde is said to have entered the woman's room at about 11pm on Friday and carried out the dastard act.

The woman as announced by the state police public relations officer,Mr. Femihan Adeoye,Sustained various levels of injuries on her body and even in her "retired supposed resting private part".

Mr Femihan disclosed that Kehinde has been arrested and the woman is still recuperating in a private hospital.

Kehinde who ruin errands often for the lady is reported to have admitted to the crime and said it was just influence of Alcohol that lure him to the act.

Kehinde said "I didn't know my self, I was just drunk, I don't know how i found my way into her room,I just realized myself in the morning when police came to arrest me."

He is still in custody of the Osun State police command and would be charge to court.

Some residents of the area blamed the woman's children for living her in solitude at that age. They advised at least a relative or house help be employed to stay with her and condemned in general the abandonment of parents and grand parents by children in this society.

A neighbor of Kehinde alleged that he has caught Kehinde throwing unwelcome glances at the old woman described as "beautiful and endowed" even as an octogenarian.

"I have caught Kehinde staring at mama often times but i dismissed any suspicion with the fact that your eyes can be fix somewhere but your mind far from there. I now know i was wrong. Mama is a beautiful woman even at her age but beauty is never an invitation to rape. Kehinde act is inhuman, mama do feed him regularly and he run errands happily for her." The neighbor stated.

Kehinde was later confirmed to be 29years old. His act has been described by some Nigerians on Social Media as "madness and lack of respect" that led him to rape a woman three times his age.
