POLICE OFFICER DISMISSED FOR RAPING A 14 YEARS OLD GIRL
An officer of the Nigeria Police Force attached to Okpoko police division of Anambra state has been wholly dismissed from the force for raping a 14 years old girl.
The police whose name is Barua Garba, 46 years old, hails from sokoto and was confirmed after investigation to have had carnal knowledge of a little girl last month.
The little girl whose parents resides in Delta state is reported to have been sent on an errand to Onitsha but was blocked by Corporal Barua who took her to his resident.
The girl as reported followed willingly after she was maneuvered on the protective premise of being with a police officer. She was kept in custody of Corporal Barua for six days during which he had series of sexual intercourse with her.

.She narrated the sad ordeal to her parents after pressure and threats of punishment.
The case was taken up by a social activists, Alhassan Dambata who really made it public.
The police spokesperson in Anambra state, Mrs Nkiruka Nwode confirmed the incident to news men. She said Barua was dismissed by a panel for abusing the police force cum misconduct, And would stand trial in court on the 8th of November,2017.
Parents of the girl were criticized by some Nigerians for sending such underaged girl to a far destination in this present vulnerable society.
It was learnt that, parents of the girl are so poor and uneducated but that was rejected by many as not an excuse to common sense parenting.
The girl as said is still undergoing treatment in a private hospital with medical bills taken care by Umar Garba, commissioner of police incharged of Anambra state.
Rape is on the increase in Nigeria despite the many years of prison term as penalty. The increase has been associated with death in integrity and conscience.
