SON OF VETERAN UTSU J.D AGBA LAUNCHED A BOOK IN CALABAR
Goddy Jeddy-Agba who is the Son of Utsu J. D Agba has launched a book tittle "Stepping Forward With Uti J.D Agba".
The book launch which took place at the Calabar international Conference Center yesterday witness a huge town of dignitaries and friends of wellness.
The book authored by Goddy Jeddy-Agba and Mathias Okoi Uyouyo with review by Prof. Kalu Uka of the University of Uyo features the biography of Jeddy Agba with inclusion of political and working experiences.
The former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasenjo who was fully in attendance and the special guest of honour called for a collaborative relationship among politicians in the state to achieve good governance.
Obasenjo launched the book with a pleasurable sum of nomisma.
Other dignitaries present including the Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ben Ayade who defeated Goddy Jeddy-Agba in the 2015 PDP Gubernatorial primary made a monetary launch of the book with ten million naira divisible into five million on behalf of the state and five million naira on behalf of himself.
Goddy Jeddy-Agba was the former group marketing manager of Crude Oil Marketing Division, Nigeria National Petroleum Commission. A position that has earned him criticism about writing the book "Stepping Forward".
Making the criticism, A young lady who pleaded for hidden identity said "What stepping forward? A former Group General manager in NNPC that has no single person from his home town, Obudu working in NNPC is telling us on how to step forward? Well i pray he really rededicate himself to humanity".
Others praised Mr Goddy for such inspiration and zeal to reflect on Stepping Forward. They pleaded for a level platform and support that would encourage other young writers to strife.
Mr Goddy expressed gratitude for the high turn out and love. He prayed for journey mercies back to their various destination.
Goddy Jeddy-Agba hale from Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River and is the Son of Utsu J.D Agba who is the longest serving Paramount Ruler in West Africa with 57 years on the throne.
