THE VICE CALL PROSTITUTION IN THIS PART OF THE WORLD

The rate of Prostitution in Nigeria is on the increase with Financial,Emotional
Spiritual and Mental Poverty. These vices among others are on the increase  because our leaders have failed,churches have failed,Christ in us is death,Self control is death,patience is death. 

Commercial sex workers popular known as Ashawo or ruins girls in this side of the world especially Calabar,the cross river state capital display their God given endowment without shame for just monetary gains. These Ashawo are seen standing half naked around areas like Atekong Drive off Marian road and closed to club houses and hotels in the metropolis. 

 

Of recent the incumbent governor Prof. Ben Ayade demolished their den popular known as "flower mill* in ikot ansa and arrested who ever is caught standing by the road sides to sale their body. These arrests scared many of them away the streets but those executing the governor orders were now seeing it as a cheap blessing. Sex or money was offered to the security for freedom. We haven't heard of None that are prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others. 

This negligence has given birth to more prostitutes. I drove passed the area some days ago,what i saw weakens me. Young ugly and beautiful teenage girls wanders about like sheep searching for pastures indeed. Its now terrible!!!.

 Should financial hardships or friends influenced us into such vices? No way!!,some people conditions are worse than what you are facing yet they are not prostitutes or arm robbers. Accept you are promiscuous and let's someone really helps you. If you are doing it for finance haven't you make a lot of money? No one in this society have been celebrated for making through prostitution.to venture into prostitution means you can also steal. They both have an attribute of no shame.

Reflecting on this can't be complete without blaming men too that patronize them. You're also a whore. There's no one that have died from lack of sex. Small Money you suffer to earn,money your younger ones and significant others are begging for yet you spend it for just pleasure that shows no profit. There should be self control. I tell you honestly ,if all men have self control and stop patronizing these prostitutes ,they will withdraw to their tent disappointedly. 

 

Churches should also preach salvation and not prosperity. The gospel shouldn't be sugarcoated ,repent or you die is the best gift to members and members to love ones. Pastors should take the gospel to the strategic stands of these people. Most of them don't really know what they're doing. Cast the devil out of them!!. 

 Our politically elected leaders should provide employment opportunities and skills acquisitions for the esteeming population. Its possible, we are Nigerians the giant of Africa. And we should have patience and cut our coats according to our sizes. No one was born with riches or poverty,they're all work patiently with the grace of God towards it.
