AKTC VEHICLE INVOLVED IN A FATAL ACCIDENT ALONG CALABAR-ITU ROAD

Vehicle belonging to Akwa Ibom State Transport Company was involved in an accident along Calabar-Itu Road today at about 1pm.The vehicle was coming to Calabar from Uyo capital of Akwa Ibom State.

The driver collided head to head with the on coming vehicle that partially left it lane. Effort to control seem in vain as the AKTC vehicle was in top speed,this resulted to the vehicle Summersaulting three times . passersby stopped to assist in bringing passengers out of the vehicle.

However there was no confirmed death but many were injured bleeding, complaining of chest,neg pains and one other had a fractured leg.
Some of the passengers felt to their kneels to thank God.

The passenger who sat in front said she cautioned the driver about the high speed but he ignored her.
Some of the road users lamented about the incessant accidents involving AKTC vehicles.
