POLICE OFFICER SHOT DEAD HANDBAG SNATCHER

An officer of the Nigeria Police Force attached to a branch of  Firstbank  in Lagos have shot dead a thief and arrested there other.

According to eye witness the two boys on a motor cycle snatched a handbag from a lady stepping out from the bank. The police on guard sprung into action by firing at the rider and arrested there other boy that sat behind.

The owner of the handbag said over fifty thousand Naira was inside. She thanked  the police for coming to her aid and pray the soul of the young boy rest in perfect peace.

Lagos residents lament over the increased theft in the city especially bags and phone snatching including the activities of the dreaded cult group baddoo. Some said this news will serve as deterrent to others because it Implies the police now have zero tolerance for robbery in the area.

However one of the witness was of the opinion that the police should have shown professionalism by chasing them rather than firing without warning.

The body of the deceased was deposited in the mortuary after the arrival of the divisional police officer while there other boy is still in detention.
