Music is a form of entertainment and it objective is to pass a message. Music has gone a long way to capture the attention of the society that's now more about Entertainment but the question if it objective is been fulfilled depends on the individual. Most individual only dances to the beat of the songs and not the lyrics. It is either you love a song from Person A or from B, the interest in songs varies with our faces. Music as a means of conveying message means musicians are teachers.
Music started many years ago and its old as man. It was a traditional way of entertaining people during festival or celebrations. Changes soon occurred and it got to a stage where it was been recorded in a tape,played with a radio. It moved from that stage with the coming of advance technology to where we are now . Music is now recorded in Disc with data represented in audio and video format, high quality videos are filmed for better entertainment and view.
This present era of music videos has brought advantages and disadvantages to the society .
ADVANTAGES OF MUSIC VIDEO
Music Video as a noun has it good side and that can't be disputed. It arrival brought employment to people in the society as man power was needed to handle the Cameras , direct the characters, make up artist too are now employed to keep the faces of the characters looking beautiful. Music Videos serve as a pleasure to man or keeps man entertained . They are lessons and dress tips that an average man who has no opportunity to fashion classes can be copy from music videos. Dancers, beautiful girls and guys are also needed in music videos to make it interesting to sight. Music video promote popularity of the actors and what they act i:e content . Generally Music Videos serves as a source of income,motivation ,Education and entertainment to the society.

Whatever has a good side has equally some bad aspect ,music video is not left out. The negative implication of music videos is at the cost of it benefit to those involved in it. Whatever is displayed on Music Videos is main to pass a message ,of recent the dress style of women with pant and brazier in music videos is passing a wrong message to the society about women. This has contributed to girls copying the dress style and walking about Confidently naked in the name of wearing bikini. Music videos has also brought fake lifestyle as most people want to live like the musicians on videos. There's also improper view of music videos in classrooms, Cars etc that distract attention of students or drivers. Music videos has contributed to the increased fact and struggle in the society as an era of beautiful appearance or looks. Generally music videos contribute to a distraction in the society,distraction from the approved dress style and focus.

Music video should reflect and address issues in the society why the society should form the basis for music video.
