DAVIDO'S LAWYER REJECT CLAIMS SURROUNDING TAGBO'S DEATH

Davido's Lawyer has released an official statement rejecting claims Davido was involved in the death of his friend 'Tagbo Umeike on the 3rd of October.

Tagbo a friend of Davido is reported to have been dumped in the Lagos State General Hospital after a night club party with Davido and his friends.
His body was found dead at the floor of the hospital but Davido have claimed Tagbo consumed excess of alcohol known as Tequila.

Tequila is made from blue gave plant in Mexico and has about 55% alcohol. Tagbo is reported to have taken 40 shots of tequila that night but autopsy shows he died from suffocation. Tequila and Davido have "no known" confrontation before his death.

The girlfriend of Tagbo Caroline Danjuma who is an actress earlier took to her Instagram page to accused Davido of killing Tagbo and cry to God for Justice. The family of Tagbo were not left out as they suspected Davido is behind the death of their son and denied any claims tagbo was into drugs.

The Lagos Police division has invited Davido twice for interrogation but Davido repeatedly denied any knowledge about the death of his friend and assured the police of cooperation in the investigation.

Some Nigerian Artist like CDQ and Tiwa Savage have sent condolences to Davido over the death of his friend expressing sympathy and courage especially at this time where the world is talking negatively about him.
Some fans have reacted to their condolence as a "waste" because Davido doesn't appear like someone who is mourning.

Reactions have been thrilling the incident since October 3rd with most people alleged to have a reason to believe while others including his fans rebuked the claimed describing it as "an attempt to tarnish Davido's Career".

Davido have responded to the claims by releasing Close Circuit Television (CCTV) photograph of him and Tagbo at the entrance of the club. Tagbo is seen waited by Davido's expensive Car while Davido walks away. A photo that Davido feels it support his statement that he left the club without Tagbo and never dumped him any way.

A lady who reacted anonymously on the CCTV photos said "The photos is meaningless to Davido claims but of more fact to suspect he knows about the death of Tagbo that has become popular in death. There's definitely a connection but it is the duty of the police to know, maybe they know already but let's justice be done".

Others warned that let this be a lesson to especially young Nigerians that goes about flaunting ,drinking and smoking with these celebrities, Saying when it "goes wrong" they would know their way out and release a new track that everyone will dance to in "your burial".

Two friends of Davido DJ Olu and Chime Amechina are rumored to have died in a vehicle just at the entrance of their resident. It is not certain if its in connection with Tagbo's death but accusing fingers have been pointed towards it but investigation is on by the police.
