HUSBAND COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER WIFE DELIVERED TRIPLET IN KOGI STATE

A Nigerian who hale from kogi state has committed suicide after wife delivered triplet leaving his family in grieve. 

The 56years old man who was identified as Edward Soje, a level 16 officer and director in the civil service took his life on the 21st of October just after the birth of twins by his dear wife.

They were alleged report that Mr Soje committed suicide because of unpaid salary for months but the Kogi state head of service Deborah Ogunmola dismissed such report as untrue and said Mr Osoje salary was delayed because of falsification of age but received his complete salary last December after he admitted to his offense and the state  government was so merciful on him.

Until Soje's death he was a director in the teaching service commission.

Reacting to his death, a family member disclosed that late Mr Edward Soje showed no sign of worries nor depression and couldn't ascertain why he committed suicide.

Some Residents of Kogi state maintained the grounds that it was lack of finance that contributed to his death especially the need to take care of the set of triplet but advised that was not a enough reason to kill himself as he has ended up putting the family in worse conditions. 
They pleaded for assistance to the family from the general public.

The wife of late Edward Soje is reported to have received kind gestures from friends,family and the well wishers in the form of money, provisions, clothes and care needed most by her at this time. She expressed gratitude to all and described the late husband demise as "really painful in the period of supposed happiness".

However no one knows why he committed suicide as no note was left behind by him but all have associated it with the birth of his triplet. One Kingsley Ojon reacted to the demise as "people pray for just a child yet those that have would take their life? even for a level 16 officer in the civil service, what would people below him and unemployed do then?, there is absolutely need for self control. Enough of this suicide news from all around the country please."

They are been reported cases of husbands running away from their wives at the birth of twins or triplet. Last year A man in Enugu state abandoned his wife and new born twins to a unknown location but was back to pose with the twins on Arsenal jersey after the state government gave a three bedroom flat, money worth millions and automatic employment to his wife. Many believed late Mr Soje's death would open great paths for his wife.
