REV. FATHER CHASED YOUTHS WHO BROUGHT TITHES BACK TO THEIR SEATS

Rev father incharge of St. Patrick's Catholic Church Ikot ansa, Calabar has chased youths queued up with tithes back to their seats.

The priest from Germany known as Rev Father Kelihard rebuked the decision of the youths who have no good source of income.

The priest who is known for his true Catholicism made it known during the tithe Sunday mass that Church is not an avenue for stressful collection from those who don't have to add to those who have rather from those who have to those who don't. He backed it up with Jesus Christ words that he came for the poor.

Catholics in the church were not surprised about Father Kelihard decision because it was not the first time. They wondered on the evolution speed in Christianity Practices from what the white man taught us to what we see now in most churches birthed daily in Nigeria.

It is alleged that churches so prefer money from members now than even their righteousness. Tactical spiritual manipulations, Calculated obvious intentions and others are oriented to generate beautiful money from all members. A "righteous man" in most churches now as alleged, is he who pays more and would remain in the rank provided the payment is sustained.

The Rev Father prayed for the youth to excel in their endeavors and blatantly told them to use the money in helping their stomachs. He added "tithe money goes to the community,to the unemployed,less privileged and special needs people. What sense does it make collecting from same people?It is only those who have selfish interest for the tithes that do such. Go with your money in peace and live in peace but never fail to give your soul always to God, that's what God cares about the most".

The church was in quiet mode as expected every tithe and non tithe Sunday in SPC. Alleged reports has it the priest intend to abolish the so loud announcement of tithe Sunday soon with encouragement of private worthy donations.

One of the youth chase back to his seat is rumored to have expressed anger over it because he is capable and urge the father not to judge by physical appearance while some of the youths thanked the priest for the enlightenment.
