BUHARI CONFERRED WITH IGBO CHIEFTAINCY TITTLES

President Muhammadu Buhari has been conferred with chieftaincy titles during his visit to Ebonyi State by the South-East Traditional Council of Rulers.

The Chieftaincy tittles which was conferred on Mr Buhari as a sign of dignity and recognition for his contributions to the Nigeria society received excitement from the President.

The tittles include "Enyioma 1 of Ebonyi and Ochioha Ndi Igbo 1".

Receiving the tittles, Buhari Expressed gratitude and described it as a sign of Unity in Diversity.

President Buhari who later addressed an audience said "Igbo's, Nigeria is inseparable, Nigeria is Igbo, Igbo is Nigeria". He called for cordial relationship to actualize the creation of One Nigeria.

Buhari added that Nation Building is a continuous process from the efforts of our founding Fathers. He frown at youths involving in protest for secession, saying they were just "misguided" and should rather channel their energy to the unity of Nigeria.

The acceptance of the chieftaincy tittles conferred on Mr Buhari means he can be address as Enyioma 1 of Ebonyi & Ochioha Ndi Igbo 1 at anyplace and time from now onward.

Nigerians have congratulated him on Twitter, describing the tittles as highly prestigious. Though some were of the view its politically influence.
