ROBERT MUGABE RESIGNS AS PRESIDENT OF ZIMBABWE
93years old Robert Gabriel Mugabe has just tendered a resignation letter as the President of Zimbabwe.
The letter described his action as willingly and not influenced by known circumstances.
Jubilation has hit the country following the announcement. Many have been spotted on the streets chanting songs of happiness.
Mugabe resignation means he has become the first democratic elected president in this century to hit such action. He has been described as an "Iconic leader" by the country's minister of Finance.
Tributes has also been showered on the Nonagenarian describing him as a good leader who has the ears of the masses.
Robert Mugabe became the president of Zimbabwe in 1980 and executive president in 1987 till date. His resignation after 37 years has been further described as the will of Zimbabweans.
