BUHARI GIVES ONE THOUSAND NAIRA EACH TO FREED PRISONERS TO BEGIN A NEW LIFE

President Mohammadu Buhari has generously given just one thousand naira to each freed prisoner in Kano state.

The prisoners were freed by President Buhari during a state visit to Kano earlier this week.

Buhari disclosed the money was main for the prisoners to start a new life and urge them to make good use of it.

Buhari was criticized by some Nigerians for granting presidential pardon to hundreds of Criminals convicted of various crimes including terrorism.

The pardon has been described as "politically influence and not originated from merciful circumstances". Some Nigerians believe it implications would be subsequent breaking of the law.

Nigerians have equally reacted comically to Buhari One Thousand Naira kind gesture towards the Freed criminals with most feeling its just too small a gift from the President of Prestigious Nigeria for them to start up a life hence upholding their understanding about Him when it comes to generosity.

The generosity in cheque form came in a well expensive envelope and was however cheered by the prisoner, witnesses and families of the Prisoners but probably got them so disappointed at confirmation of the amount but would be consoled with the fact that the gift of freedom is most vital than one thousand naira.

Buhari was cheered by youths and Supporters in Kano State and was encouraged to contest in the next election come 2019.
