BREAKING: CONSTRUCTION OF DOUBLE LANE ROAD IN OBUDU DITCHED

Plans for the construction of double lane roads in Obudu local government area ditched after 6 months process. The tractors, bulldozers and other machines have fallen back to the construction of a usual two-lane expressway following alleged order from above.

Properties and houses were destroyed as part of the double lane construction. The most painful as noted in the bless land was at a section in Betukwel Village. The owner of a house closer to the road, Mr Paul Adah denied such passage of a double lane road that will affect his precious building alleged to be finely built with nomisma raised from his spell in the house of assembly .

The company handling the construction work had diverted the road through FG filling station to some miles after the precious building resulting to further destruction of properties, farms and houses with overwhelmed tolerance in the poor owners that its the price for development but such has soon been tag a "water-leaf developmental price".

The abandonment of the double lane road suspected to be cause by "financial e no dey" has earned reactions from residents who were thrown into emergency dumbest but struggled to expressed "kpash Ayade" with however consolation it has been reduced to "i can capacity".

Most Indigenes in Obudu advised the present First son of the land, Prof Ben Ayade to always "cut his coat according to his financial capacity for the precious name of success" and encouraged him to endeavor to complete the road and other projects in the area and state at large.

Construction of Obudu roads began in July as part of "digitalism" of the state Governor but its still far from completion and has subject many to tolerate unusual dust and mud with the perception "development is on going".
