NIGERIANS REACTED TO PRESIDENT BUHARI 93DAYS ABSENCE
Nigerians have expressed very bitter feelings over the absence of President M. Buhari for over 93 days especially in this period of Recession.
Buhari left Nigeria on May 7 for medical treatment in London and till date no news about his health or when he will return. Its been 93 days of "Am recuperating". The patience in esteem Nigerians longing for the promised change has ran out. In Abuja ,some group of Nigerians were spotted protesting yesterday with flyers tag #ResumeOrResign. The Police were reported to have fire at the protesters led by Chally Boy and arrested some who are still in custody.
Some Nigerians described the shooting as more wounds to the wounded soul saying its now an obvious system that lack respect to human rights. One aggrieved man who reacted said "The constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria allows for the senate to declare the sit of the presidency vacant after 90days but this is over 94days of Buhari Absence and everyone is quiet and passive. Nigerians that decided to protest were shot by armed security men. Where is this country headed, well it's as simple as Resuming or Resigning for Buhari ".
Mr Akpan however said "its lack of dignity, a President who has dignity would step outside if health is no longer on his side and moreover he should allow Osinbanjo that he has been praising for doing very well to be the substantive president".
Mrs Eko said "enough is enough, President Resume or Resign , stop wasting our money in London, we can't afford to keep paying you salaries for doing nothing. Respect the constitution".
Resume or Resign = Respect is now trending on twitter and other social media. Nigerians have called for respect and full implementation process of the played down constitution. The presidency is yet to response to the protest.
