MAN RAPED REVEREND SISTER PLAXEDES TO DEATH

Rev. Sister Plaxedes Kumadinya has been brutally raped to death by a suspected man in a prayer shrine call Glorious Cross Of Life in a remote village of Mutoko, Zimbabwe.

Rev. Sister Plaxedes who until her death was a staff of St. Georges High School, Harare is reported to have led a section of the students to Mutoko Community for sensitization and assessment tour but met her death in the prayer shrine.

Sister Plaxedes had asked one of the women in the community to accompany her to the shrine. When they got to the shrine she pleaded to be alone to talk with God but after a long while the lady went back there and could not find her.

The woman raised alarm and Sister Plaxedes body was found floating on the River after days of searching for her.

A young man has been arrested as suspect in connection with the sad incident after he was seen with groceries belonging to the Rev Sister. The man is alleged to have confessed to the crime saying he hit the Sister to Coma before raping her to his satisfaction and then strangled her to death.

The man added he had to dumped the sister's body in the river to make it look like a suicide. He is still in custody of the local police and would be charged to court.

The suspect have been identified as Enock Potani, just 20years old.

A group of Reverend Sisters in Harare  have described the demise of Sister Plaxedes as a sad end and condole themselves with the fact she would meet our creator. They further condemned any hand raise against God anointed and rape of women in the society. They pleaded justice for late Rev Sister Plaxedes.

Rev Sister Plaxedes was described as a good woman who upheld the virtues of Christianity and Sisterhood.
