SOUTH AFRICANS BLAST NIGERIANS OVER NEWS OF G-WAGON TO HUSBAND WHOSE WIFE WAS IMPREGNATED
Some South Africans have reacted angrily on social media to the news circulating on the internet across Nigeria.
The news published yesterday at various known news sites has it that a billionaire Nigerian bought a G-Wagon worth N44M as an apology to a South African Man whose wife was impregnated by him(the Nigerian).
The South African husband whose names nor resident was not stated in the news is reported to have initially acted rudely but brought out a smile worth more than Davido's N30B when he saw the Mercedes G-Wagon as a sign of apology.
The man is reported to have collected the G-Wagon happily as a sign of everlasting forgiveness both for the wife and the Nigerian and promised to take care of the child when delivered.
The south African in his words on receiving the Car said "It has happened, would i kill my wife for a mistake, that would be added mistakes. Its good that you are here, let's sort it out like men,I would take care of the child when he is delivered or as you the Father pleases. My wife is so close to her menopause,i didn't even know she can be pregnant again,it really shows you're are bless indeed as a Nigerian."
South Africans have described the news as a "blatant Fiction and insult to the dignity of marriage in their land".
One Samkeliva Johnson on a twitter said "the news lacks credibility, we in south Africa haven't heard nor seen such here, no South African by our heart held culture would accept anything as such when you impregnate his wife,i mean wife not even a girlfriend, that is Someone you love. If its just cheating its different but to the level of pregnancy. Tell me which man will welcome that,if its welcome in Nigeria it is not in South Africa."
Tony Riths on Facebook said "As stingy as Nigerians are that they can't even help themselves and families let alone someone entangled in their innuendo. A typical Nigerian would run on hearing such pregnancy news and only comes back if the child becomes President. Not a true news, just a fiction to earn money."
Another South African with just the name Vikcs reacted that "whoever broadcasted that news don't know much about South Africans and how the value what they love, if he does,he would have included the obituary of that Billionaire Nigerian in the publication. If any one don't understands me,give it a try."
Others said such news doesn't say well about South Africans and beg for reports that would build unity as Africans rather than destroying it.
A Nigerian with the name Joseph apologize on behalf of Nigerians to South Africans if really the news is not true, "I didn't believe the news too when i heard it because a Billionaire and the path of a low class person won't cross to the level of impregnating her. Tell me where can they even meet, A billionaire passes through the air and expensive cars, a poor man passes on foot sweating in armpits. A poor person in this present society is a threat to billionaire. I would have believed if the story was a car to an angry father whose daughter was impregnated. South Africans pardon us please, it may have been with the intention of just entertainment but it has been overrated."
Joseph jokingly concluded that "I should have sent the G-Wagon to butter my apology but am hopeful my apology would be accepted even without the G-Wagon to avoid further breaking fast news".
