MEEK MILL SENTENCE TO FOUR YEARS IN PRISON

African American Born rapper Meek Mill has been sentence to jail for a period of two to four years for unlawfully possession of drugs and gun.

Delivery the judgment,Judge Genece E Brinkley said it was the decision of the court after Meek broke the probation orders of the court.

"I gave you break after break but you just thumped your nose on this court. The hammer has been raised & landed."

Meek Mill 30 years old, was placed on probation in 2005 as a teenager after arrested with drug and gun.

Meek has broken the probation order by hosting concerts and involving in other activities that led to his arrest in March after a fight in an airport but was released.

Despite his plead for mercy, He was sentence to a period of two to four years for disobeying the court orders with parole eligibility after two years.

The sentence broke the 30years old in tears and he had pleaded for pardon, saying "am just a human full of mistakes like any other".

Jay Z the owner of the music record label Meek Mill is signed to, criticized the verdict on Twitter, saying it was just "unjust and heavy landed". He summoned Meek to be strong amidst this period that would surely pass.

Other hip hop artists described the court ruling as "merciless". Nigeria Davido has poured messages of vexation on his Instagram, saying Meek Mill was abandoned by his numerous friends who are always around him in clubs but non couldn't accompany him to the court yard.

Some have reacted to Davido's comment as nothing would have change with their presence while few said meek would have had a sense of comfort needed most at the time.

Fans of Meek were not cool on the matter as they described it as shocking and begged for the case to be reconsider because it was just Meek "childish regrettable lifestyle". Others praised the judicial system for being lenient and not intimidated by the Millionaire rapper.

Meek's Lawyer is yet to open up if the verdict would be appealed.

Meek Mill whose original name is Robert Williams was brought up Philadelphia by a single mother. He hit the music fame with his unique style of raps.
