GIRL ARRESTED FOR STEALING PLANTAIN

A young girl has been arrested for stealing plantain in a retail outlet located in Maraba, the outsketch of Abuja.

The girl was locked up for several hours for the crime but was later released after interrogation.

It was gathered that the young girl with a baby explained she & the baby were just hungry and needed to feed.

She was freed by a Senior Police Officer, Fatai Owoseni who also made a contribution of ten thousand naira to the girl.

Fatia Owoseni has earned high praises from Nigerians for his kind gesture though some are of the opinion it isn't appropriate and she should have been punished because she has stolen, saying hunger has been the constant to be excuse reason for thieves. 

Despite the goodwill, one Mr A. Jima maintained police in this part of the country "can never earned his love". 

Her condition was described as the "consequence of teenage pregnancy" by one Miss Ruth Abak. Miss Ruth advised parents to be awake to their parental responsibilities.
